1995

1995 – June 23-25
Location:    Skydive America – Beaumont
Plane – two Otters from Dallas and Eloy, Queenair, 210

5 twenty-way teams,  4 ten-way teams, 1500+ jumps made, 38 people entered Hit & Chug

Had been making plans to hold the meet at Spaceland which had moved from League City to Anahuac, TX but they closed earlier in the year, so we had to make some quick changes and Beaumont was able to step in as host.  The City of Anahuac was disappointed and made offers to keep us.   Another DZ was considered but they were surprised when they found out it the event wasn’t a huge money maker.

Logistics, politics and my work schedule were making it harder.

In December, Skydive City Florida hosted the 20 way World Meet.  I was invited to judge but when I arrived, I found out Sherry was still in jury duty and I had been made Chief Judge.  Four teams – Deguello won. (by a lot)
