First year adding 10 way with the same rules.  It was getting harder for some DZ’s to put together a 20-way team but wanted to compete. The team Subconscious won the 10 way event.
Spaceland was experiencing a wave of LBGTQ jumpers coming through their student program. They seemed to be surprised at the level of acceptance by experienced jumpers.  They were trying to organize a 20-way team which didn’t happen but some of them got on other teams. I had promised them a rainbow patch if they had a team.
We also had communication from a German team but we only had a few fun jumpers. Don’t know how the international community was hearing about us.
Training and coaching was offered to teams by: Jack Berke – Deguello Captain, Joe Nepute – World Champion 4 way team Air Bears, Gary Byers – S. African 4 way Champion and TEXXAS Co-organizer, Laird Cogburn.
